Muhammed Ali - Truth Victorious

In writing and directing the Television Documentary "Muhammed Ali Truth Victorious" I was inspired by the words of a Cuban Patriot Luis Pedro Torroella who in 1962 said: "A times comes when a man must bet on himself, even if it means staking his life on the outcome... there is one moment on which a man's whole life turns... If he backs down from that challenge then his life is not much more than water."

In refusing to be drafted to fight a war he opposed, Muhammed Ali sacrificed his World Boxing Title and lucrative career rather than violate his religious beliefs. After the war ended his personal integrity was recognized and applauded. By being true to himself, by opposing lies and deception, Muhammed Ali won his greatest Victory.
